Zane Schulte
Zane built Surf + Soul at the intersection of faith and the ocean. A lifelong surfer, entrepreneur, and believer, he spent years in banking and financial services before founding Amend Treatment — a luxury residential mental health center in Malibu — and later, Surf + Soul. He leads every retreat personally because he believes the most important conversations happen chest-deep in something bigger than yourself.

Rachyl Schulte
Rachyl is the heart of every guest’s week. She handles the hundred small details that turn a trip into a transformation — the welcome at the door, the meal that meets a dietary need, the right word at the right moment. Bilingual in Spanish and deeply attuned to people, she bridges the cultural and the personal, making sure every guest is seen, fed, and at home — even when they’re 3,000 miles from it.

Worship Guide
Travis Noe
Travis carries the spiritual heartbeat of every Surf + Soul week. A pastor at Little Church by the Sea in Laguna Beach, he leads worship, anchors the Soul Sessions, and creates the moments where the music meets the moment — under the stars, by the water, around a fire. Off the pulpit, Travis is also Captain of the U.S. National Inline Hockey Team, a four-time gold medalist at the IIHF World Championships, and a competitive triathlete. He brings the same intensity to worship that he brings to the rink — fully present, fully committed, fully alive.

Our Surf Team
Our Surf Guides bring deep knowledge of El Tránsito’s four breaks and a heart for your spiritual journey. Whether it’s your first time standing on a board or you’re chasing barrels at Pistols, your Guides match you with the right wave and the right board every morning. Patient, encouraging, and skilled — they’ll have you riding by Day 2.

Our Holy Yoga Guide leads Christ-centered movement sessions that replace Sanskrit with scripture. Each morning’s practice warms body and spirit for the water ahead. No experience needed — just an open heart and a willingness to breathe.
